Training Description for Palo Alto Networks 201:
During this introductory-level class, the instructor will lead students through the process of installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks next generation firewalls. Students will be introduced to deployment scenarios and the configuration steps for the networking, security, threat prevention, reporting and logging features of PAN-OS, the security-specific operating system that controls every Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall. Additional PAN-OS subjects include SSL decryption, Captive Portal and IPSec VPNs.
Using a combination of instructor lecture, interactive demonstrations and hands-on labs, this class will give students an in-depth understanding of how App-ID, User-ID and Content-ID can enable policy based visibility and control over applications, users and content.

OVERVIEW
Extended Firewall Management is the next-level follow-on course to Palo Alto
Network’s Installation, Configuration, and Management (PAN-EDU-201).
Extended Firewall Management expands on 201 course topics, while introducing
many new features and functions of Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation firewalls.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Successful completion of this three-day, instructor-led course will enhance the
student’s understanding of how to install, configure, manage, and perform basic
troubleshooting on the entire line of Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation firewalls.
Additionally, students will be instructed on the basics of implementing and
managing GlobalProtect™, Panorama, and Active/Active High Availability.
Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of how to optimize their visibility and
